Important Modeler Notes
Tableau Data Extract is no longer supported by Quantrix and has been removed from Quantrix Modeler. Models saved in the new version will have the legacy Tableau configuration properties removed.
Warning
The H2 Database is no longer included in Quantrix Modeler due to security issues with the embedded version and the lack of an automatic upgrade path. Models with DataLink, Data Push, or Data Import configurations will show a missing database driver error, indicating the H2 driver is unavailable. Users can install an H2 driver obtained from the H2 database website via Tools > Settings like other database drivers. Users with databases created using the old driver must manually upgrade the H2 database following instructions on the H2 website.
Significant Fixes in Modeler 26.2.0
In browsers that require user consent for local network access by web sites, such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, users will no longer be prompted to grant Qloud access to their local network when signing into Qloud from Modeler. Instead, users in all browsers may be prompted to allow an application-specific URL beginning with qtx:// to be opened in Modeler at the end of the login process. This allows Qloud users to connect from Modeler without having to grant broad local network access rights to the Qloud site.
The filters panel will now work with matrix/chart selections in Interaction mode on the canvas. Filters will still apply to the entire table view/chart. Category filters set from the filters panel are now respected for chart canvas objects with no data matrix showing.
When reading models saved in version 24.3.0 or older, certain chart types like statistical charts, bubble charts, plots and box and whisker charts will now use the correct series formats for displaying the chart and legend.
Category item filters on the Filters panel will now live update when the filter is set from the category tile on the view.
Legend item selection on the canvas now correctly selects the legend item in all layout configurations.
Formulas will no longer error when using inter-model formulas to matrices that have categories with expression based item descriptors.
Important Qloud Notes
Use of $RoleName environment variables in formulas and expressions may generate incorrect results when used in Qloud and should not be used in calculation formulas, expression filters or conditional format expressions if the model is to be used in Qloud.
Significant Fixes in Enterprise Qloud 26.2.0
Performance improvements have been made to rendering of large views when scrolling, especially when the view is in outline mode or is sorted. Users should no longer see long delays when scrolling.
Users can now delete an openid connect provider from configuration file.
