Create Mekko Charts
Quantrix brings a new perspective to Mekko visualization. When users create a Mekko chart in Modeler, they are creating “not only one chart, but all possible charts at the same time” says Gilbert Hangartner (Quantrix Partner). Rather than sorting out all your data and then plotting only the final product, Quantrix allows you to create the Mekko first. In turn, users can now “look at the data, understand it, and select the final data” they want to use. Hangartner continues: “assume you have a 5-dimensional datacube which you pipe into the Mekko chart. You can then create all possible combinations of 2-dimensional Mekko-charts by just flipping around the categories.”
Range based formulae
Traditional spreadsheets use cell addresses — such as B2 for column B of row 2 — rather than meaningful names — such as Revenues or Expenses. Anyone who has tried to read such formulas, whether written by someone else or oneself, knows how hard they can be to understand or verify. Quantrix provides the most flexible modeling expression based syntax, allowing you to specify multi-dimensional slices of data, taking your analysis far beyond Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and other similar paradigms.
Quantrix’s natural language formula engine means you can write formulas referring directly the structure itself meaning that modifying a name will update all formulas for consistency – and more importantly one formula can calculate hundreds, thousands or even millions of cells. With user features such as formula syntax highlighting and automatic type-ahead, writing and debugging formulas has never been easier!

Using our interactive presentation canvas you can easily organize multiple tables and charts, onto a free-form dashboard to give users a simple interface in which to interact with a model. Groovy Scripting
