Showing full table when using a Filter based on an expression
Hi,
I have a table on a canvas where I make use of a separate matrix with a dropdownlist to filter the data of the table by making use of an expression. This works perfectly fine but once I want to see the full table I can’t do it. When I empty the filter matrix I see nothing. Does anyone know how to adjust the expression in the filter matrix to show the full table?
Hi, you have already some excellent answers. I had a similar requirement in a model and found a solution I would like to share.
To enhance the filtering process and provide an option to show all items, consider adding an “ALL” item to the dropdown list (this can be done via the generate items feature). When a user selects “ALL,” the entire table will be displayed. This approach may be more intuitive for users, as they will not need to clear the dropdown selection to view the full table.
Additionally, if you have multiple filters, combining them with a “Show All” button can further improve usability by resetting all filters at once. You can also dynamically aggregate data based on the selected items in the dropdown menu.
