Pareto chart combined with ABC-analysis

In order to support the QM community.

This time I will demonstrate a combination of Pareto chart and ABC analysis. Suppose we have income for a certain period for 10 product groups. We have broken down 100% of income into three tiers (zones). And we want to know the answer to the question: for given levels of ABC-zones, how many product groups give what percentage of total income?

This report includes a tabular part with an source data, Pareto diagram, calculated Pareto chart totals in the form of chart’s legend, and tools for setting thresholds for accumulative percentages for dividing income into ABC zones.
