Dot Quadrant Chart is an alternative type of data visualization for four KPIs on one common field. Its essence lies in the organization between the main diagonals of a square matrix of four triangular areas with a hundred of cells in each. Each triangular region displays its KPI, with traversal of the cells begins from the vertex of the triangle in the center of the matrix. I put a gray circle symbol into all the cells using the formula, and then I change the color by conditional formatting to the right number of cells proportional to the value of KPI.
Below, I show fictional KPIs in statics and dynamics.

Dot Quadrant Chart by means of Scatter (2D): a Square Shape.

Rather than regular matrices, Scatter (2D) chart is used here as a quad indicator. Plus a little bit trigonometry… and here’s what happened in the end:
