Copying Matrix: All Data Repeated
Hello guys!
There is a strange error that I noticed before, and I am not sure if it is me or Quantrix. What is happening is that I will copy a matrix (within the same model), and in the copied version, the data from the first row of the original matrix will be repeated all down the rows. For example:
Original Matrix
2.58
5.29
5.36
6.54
Copied Matrix
2.58
2.58
2.58
2.58
Has anyone else seen this? Thanks.

What may be happening here is that the matrix contains linked categories, and when you paste you are not choosing the ‘paste link’ option.
Paste link will paste the categories in a ‘linked state’ that will keep the formulas working as intended. The behavior of everything being repeated is indicative of writing inter-matrix formulas on categories that are not linked.
