I am sure this question has been asked before, but WOW how close is this to my old LOTUS IMPROV, which I still have and until today used a lot.

I came to Quantrix as a former Improv user and I think you will find it to be identical in concept but significantly more powerful.

I hate it when I have to use anything else. 🙂

Philip,

Thanks for the diagram. It definitely shows the history and timeline.

Hello Baker,

Confirming your hunch, here’s a snapshot (see attachment) of what I know of the history…

Cheers,

I would expect there is a strong connection. I would also expect that it must have been covered somewhere before (forum or articles). I am new here so I will have to do a few searches.

I worked at NeXT when Lotus rolled out Improv. I have a foggy memory that Lighthouse did a deal with Lotus. As I just said, my memory of the details is very foggy. I do expect there must have been a deal given how the key benefits of Quantrix are the sale tag lines we had for the Improv product when doing demos in the field.

If anyone knows more or can provide a link to the full story that would be great.
