Why does Quantrix flash the Windows taskbar periodically.

I like to leave Quantrix running while I’m working on something else in the foreground. That way I can quickly switch back to it when I need to. However, Quantrix has a bad habit of flashing the taskbar when I’m trying to do something else. I auto-hide my taskbar to get it out of the way, but when Quantrix flashes it, it pops up and obstructs my view of what I’m doing.

The only way I can get my working screen back is to click Quantrix, which brings it into the foreground, then hunt for the screen I’m trying to work on.

This may sound trivial, but I’m a speed typist, and this interuption seems to happen every five minutes.

I’ve got auto-save turned on for every 5 minutes, but shouldn’t auto-save automatically save, without interupting me? When I click on Quantrix, there doesn’t seem to be anything that needs my attention. Any clues?

Hi Genie – thanks for posting.

We have fixed the issue you described in our upcoming 2.1 release – currently in private beta. We expect to release commercially in mid to late April.

If you would like to gain access to an upcoming 2.1 beta release, please contact me at [email:2uu7wn5e]support@quantrix.com[/email:2uu7wn5e]. It would be great if you could verify we fixed the issue prior to the commercial release.
