How to collapse a canvas table in scripts?

Hi,

On a canvas, I added a matrix view. I wanted to collapse matrixView rows in scripts. I found the name of the matrixview is "Matrix1 – Table View 1". (The view wasn’t listed in the browser). When I reference |Matrix1 – Table View 1| in the script, Quantrix said it couldn’t find the object. Is there a way to collapse the matrix view using script ?

Thanks

The ability to do this with a view on a canvas would be most beneficial. Add this as a vote to add this as an enhancement request!

James,

Thanks for your reply. I can collapse table views existing in matrix browser. Well, what I want to collapse is the table view on top of a canvas. (Please review the attached model.) I don’t find a way to reference the table view that is put in a canvas.

099,

Try the script:

[code:18dhx5om]|’Matrix1 – View1’::B|.children.get(0).rowHeight = 0[/code:18dhx5om]

the get(0) is just indexing the children in category B, hence this script would collapse item B1. You can use another method of indexing if you wish.

Hope this helps,

James

Hi 099.

Have you tried |’Matrix1 – View1’| as notation to reference a table view.

Additionally upon pressing the ‘|’ key, you should be presented with a list of objects that you can currently reference. Does this help in any way?
