Always display syntax highlighting in equations

Hi there,

I have a quick suggestion for you…

For some reason syntax highlighting is only shown in equations when they are being edited (except comments (using //) which appear in green even when not being edited).

It would help with the readability of equations if they were always displayed with syntax highlighting – it would be great if there was an option to enable this.

Thanks!

I support this proposal too.

Syntax highlighting in equations does not work correctly under MS Win7 SP1 RUSSIAN Ed only if names of Matrix, Categories & Items are cyrillic one. Color of names of Matrix, Categories & Items is black (instead blue) as function’s names color.

I wouldn’t want it on all the time. It should be an option.
