Is there a way to run one script from within another? Seems like it should be straightforward but I can’t seem to find the syntax.

A good idea.

Something like

[code:2lr8k2v5]
RunScript(“NameOfTheScript”)
[/code:2lr8k2v5]

A good idea.

We need something like this:

[code:2lx12e5o]
RunScript(“NameOfTheScript”)
[/code:2lx12e5o]

Hi J,

I ran into this issue when I was creating the sample models for scripting and wanted to chain a series of script invocations. Unfortunately, it isn’t currently possible. I will have to investigate why that is so, and whether we might want to introduce a way to do it.

Ben

Hi,

This is not currently on our roadmap although I will log this in our backlog for consideration in a future release.

Are ‘subroutines’ possible in scripts?

e.g. subroutine myCalc, run from two different scripts with common code for myCalc?

When will this be implemented?
