Setting number formats and other visual features

There are plenty of settings for fonts and alignments, but I can’t find anything that enables a number format to be defined for cells.

Is this indeed missing?

If so, is there any possibility it could added – it would make a big difference in the usability of matrices constructed via scripts.

Beyond that, could we also get access to some other basic formatting features (as in the second section of the View Menu), notably the flag to hide category tiles on a view, and the flag to show input cells?

(Yeah, I know, users are never satisfied…)
