I had a CSV file containing years in one column and prices in the other. I am not much of a spreadsheet maven, but I needed to make a chart of it in a hurry. I imported the CSV file into Excel with no problem. Then I spent about half an hour messing and messing with Excel’s charting facility. I could not get Excel to treat the x-axis as years: it insisted on labeling it starting from 1 instead of the start date. Nor could I figure out how to convert year numbers to (internal) dates.
Finally I imported the data into Quantrix. I had the chart I wanted in three minutes flat. Everyone was most impressed. Go Quantrix!
