Hi,

To have a csv you can make a OLAP link in Excel to your MS OLAP server and save the result as exel or csv file, which can be imported without problem.

I am not in direct contact with anyone that is using MS SQL Analysis Manager so I don’t have an immediate answer to your question in regards on how to get .csv files from this platform. I will keep on the lookout as we add more customers for a solution to your question.

If any other MS SQL users can help Francois with this question, please leave a post!

Thanks,

-Mike

Hello Francois – Thanks for your post.

Quantrix version 1.0 does not offer direct connectivity with OLAP servers. However please know that this is a likely feature with later editions of the product.

Current customers are able to extract multidimensional data from OLAP servers, notably Business Objects, by importing comma separated value files (.csv) generated by these data warehouse systems. Once imported into Quantrix, you can then easily view the data multidimensional and perform forward looking analysis by adding items and formulas.

If you need any help with the import process, please don’t hesitate to post again or email [email:22vj6lo9]support@quantrix.com[/email:22vj6lo9].
